Field Trip to the Dallas Museum of Nature and Science with Brant's Kindergarten Class

We had not been to the Museum of Nature and Science before, so I was not sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised by our experience. They had a lot of hands-on activities for the kids and lots of cool things to look at. We played in the water and dressing up and got to fill a hot air balloon, send coins down a vortex and made huge soap bubbles. Then we had a trip to the planetarium. When the lights went out everyone got a little nervous but then we mostly settled down and enjoyed seeing the stars. We are looking forward to going back with the family and trying some of the things we didn't have time for on this trip.

The class and chaperones headed into the museum.
Brant and Shumli at the water table. Actually, it was a whole room with water activities and the kids loved it.

Playing firemen--ahem--firepeople.

Mommy and her little fireman.

The kids watching their coins slide down the ramp and go around and around and around and around.Watching a stream of air suspend a ping pong ball.
