Girl's Trip to Beautiful Savannah

STC has not been on a girl's weekend in about 2 years, so we decided it was high time for a little "girl time" and after the last debacle at Lake Texhoma we did not want to do a trip where we were cooking and bringing casseroles, etc. When Dan'l suggested Savannah I think everyone was in agreement it was the perfect spot. Kristi, Julie, Cyndi and I all flew into Charleston early on Thursday and had lunch at 82 Queen---wonderful lunch in a beautiful courtyard. We then drove to Savannah from Charleston. When we arrived in Savannah and got the keys to the house we were blown away with how charming it was and what a great location it was in. The house was adorable. We spent the next few days having amazing lunches and dinners, cocktails, conversation, walking the city, doing a little shopping and visiting Tybee Island. We had lots of quality girl time and made a bunch of great memories. The best friends and the best trip and lots of laughter--loved it!

Lunch at 82 Queen with Kristi, Cyndi, me and Julie. The She Crab soup was to-die-for. Living and Dining Area of the O'Connor House. Our accomodations in Savannah.
All of the ladies at Elizabeth's on 37th for dinner our first night. I can check that one off the list of 1000 Places to See Before I Die . . . it was in the book.
Julie, Cyndi and I took some morning walks and it was a great way to see the city and enjoy it's beauty.
Look at that romantic moss hanging from the trees.
Forsyth Park . . . so picturesque.
The girls in one of Savannah's many squares.
Dinner on the second night at 1790. Check out all of those hotties.
Dan'l and I at dinner.
Dan'l our karoake queen in action. We went to McDonoughs for a very happening karaoke experience after dinner that night.
Lunch on Tybee Island. It was so peaceful and nice to be close to the ocean. Steph, Cyndi & Denise.
We had lunch and then hit the beach for a little relaxation in the sun. Cyndi & Dan'l
Everybody at Jen & Friends martini bar. We had been wanting to check it out, so we went there for a cocktail before dinner our last night.

One of the best dinners we had while in Savannah . . . The Olde Pink House. It was a loooong dinner full of laughter, good wine and exceptional food. We ended up meeting a waitress there who suggested going out to City Market and we followed her suggestion. The bar she suggested had a live band and we ended up staying until 3 am. I don't think anyone wanted to go home our last night in town. Julie and I stopped by Sweet Melissa's on our way home to grab a slice of pizza. It was so good after the karaoke experience we had to do it the next night. Yum-O.
